Chicago Outfit, shortened to “The Outfit” is a crime syndicate based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Dating back to the 1910s, it is part of the United States phenomenon known as the Mafia; however, the Chicago Mafia is distinct from the “Five Families” of New York City.
